We know about the importance of finding your why. We see it everywhere. And sometimes we can feel pressure to know our universal, for the rest of our lives why.

But here’s some good news in this video that will transform the way that your compelling purpose, your why can work in your life. I promise, it will bring some lightness and playfulness to the whole thing, and you still get to have all the gravitas of being meaningful.

How do you use this square?

You stand on this square when you have defined or are looking for a purpose that inspires and drives you. Usually, this is something you would do for free because the payoff is perfectly matched to your needs and desires.

So hop onto this square and explore a little. and don’t worry about how to name it, or express it. I find it helps to sometimes just let the words fall out of your mouth.

Purpose? How do I find that?

One of the great things about this model for business and life is that it introduces the “purpose for right now”. You don’t need to find your complete life purpose that will live with you until you die. Just start with your purpose at this moment in time. And put one foot on the Hunger square, as these two help each other.

And don’t do this alone. Another great thing about this model is the conversations it starts.
Here’s a simple 3 step process to get you started

1. Think of someone you respect and trust, and can have fun with
2. Invite them for a drink
3. Talk to them about compelling purpose
