This post is part of my special Coaching Tips Series. This series was inspired by my clients, and the core themes in their challenges. When we can apply these tips, we bring a lot of ease into our lives and step into our leadership. How can you help employees thrive?
This coaching tip is a little different than normal. This time I’m sharing a quote from Gary Vaynerchuk to bring a different perspective to the topic of thriving, and the to role of a leader. (and finding new perspectives is a core coaching skill we all need). (The original LinkedIn Post is here)Â

As a leader, we can help our employees thrive by finding out what matters to them, and then help them get it. When employees get to pursue their goals, they are more motivated, engaged, and will thrive.
I love what Gary says about our expectations: don’t expect others to care about your passion. They care about their own passions. Help them find out what that is, and help them find out how working for you supports their passion.
