We all know procrastinators and to be honest, perhaps we do it ourselves too much. And there is so much content out there about how to stop procrastinating. All the things to change. But change is hard. So what makes it all worthwhile? What is waiting for us at the other end of procrastinating?
Well this note I made to myself paints a good picture.
When you’re working with a procrastinator who’s wrestling with all the ideas about how to bring structure and consistency into their day, who has a passion for detail that can lead them down rabbit holes, who ends up working late because they still need to get that one thing done…
And then you hear them calmly talk about the cool and simple hack they’ve created for themselves so that they:
Get on with the things that are important
Manage their workload
Keep taking steps every day to do it better
Can handle any situation
Don’t let anxiety and overwhelm be a daily occurrence
It makes me so damn proud of them.
All of this good stuff is waiting on the other side of getting rid of your procrastination habit.
